About me

Hi,

I am Tian-Ru, 11 years old. I would like to do a West Highland Walk for 70 kilometres (or 44 miles) over 3 days in late April 2025. One of the key reasons for me is to fundraise for GLAN.

What GLAN has been doing is really great. For example, GLAN has stopped forced labour goods entering the UK such as those from suppressed Uyghur people in China. GLAN has also helped to prevent environmental crime harming people in West Papua and beyond.

Very importantly, GLAN is currently trying to end UK’s arms export to Israel, who has been committing genocide in Gaza, according to International Court of Justice.

Our lives here and the decisions we make in the UK matter as we are closely related with other parts of the world, and so does vice versa. We need GLAN to continue the excellent and essential works that they have been doing, for humanity and the environment and for the generations to come.
